A fire broke out this afternoon at Trump Tower in Manhattan, and even though Donald Trump himself tweeted at one point that
the fire was out and the FDNYdid great work on it, the flames kept going well into the evening.
Social media users in Manhattan took plenty of videos and photos of the fire, as you can see (below):

That is a serious blaze, reportedly at or near the 50th floor of the tower.
News has been trickling in over the last hour about what's going on.

With at least one serious injury reported, it sounds like things have at least thankfully calmed down somewhat.
Still scary though!
Of course, Trump found time to tweet about it (below):
Fire at Trump Tower is out. Very confined (well built building). Firemen (and women) did a great job. THANK YOU!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 7, 2018
Thank God no life was lost.
